Built-in and custom themes, separate looks for ephemeral and slotted notes, and photo or video backgrounds with opacity, blur and colour removal.

Design Intent: The page should look like somewhere you want to write.
Themes
- Settings › Appearance › Themes. Built-in themes have a light and a dark variant (the sun and moon buttons). Applies to chooses Ephemeral or Slotted notes, so the two can look different.
- Custom themes: Import Theme… from the Theme Maker, the clipboard or a file. Themes sync between your iPhones and iPads with preferences.
- Themes are part of the Lifetime license.
Backgrounds
- A photo or video behind the note, separate ones for dark mode and for portrait and landscape, with Opacity, Blur and Remove color to keep the text readable. The row of thumbnails shows each photo at its own proportions; press and hold one to remove it from the phone.
