Trial and lifetime license
Design Intent: A full experience with no subscription: try everything for a week, then one purchase, forever. Nothing is charged automatically.
The trial
- Every feature is open for 7 days from first launch. After that the features below need the one-time Lifetime license; everything else stays free.
- A crown marks what is part of the license, so the paywall is never a surprise.
Free forever
- Writing notes, lists and checklists, math and the math keyboard, timers, search, and locked notes.
Part of the Lifetime license
- iCloud sync across your devices, themes and background images, custom app icons, home screen and Lock Screen widgets, Shortcuts and Siri, dictation, read aloud, extensions, AI features (bring your own key), text from photos, the selection wheel, orb gestures, and making new text snippets.
Buying and restoring
- Settings › Lifetime license, or any crowned feature after the trial. The price shown is the App Store's price for your region. Restore purchase brings a previous purchase back on a new device.
- Three friends joining with your code earns the license for free — see Refer friends. The Mac app is licensed separately.
