Statistics
Settings > Statistics collects anonymous usage counters in the background - notes created and deleted, characters typed, time Antinote spends focused, and your consecutive-day streak - and charts the last 28 days for this device, your Mac, or everything summed.
Updated for iOS 1.65
Statistics
Design Intent: A private look at how much you write. Counters only — the words themselves are never recorded.
Settings › Statistics collects a few counters quietly in the background and draws them as cards and a chart: notes created, notes deleted, characters typed, the time Antinote spends focused, and your current streak — consecutive days on which you used Antinote.
- Fully anonymous. Only whole numbers are recorded — never note text, titles, file names or anything that could identify you. Nothing is ever sent to Antinote.
- Per platform. The iPhone & iPad app collects into its own bucket and the Mac app into theirs. "Show" switches between this device, Mac, and All devices summed.
- The chart draws the last 28 days of one counter — notes created, notes deleted, characters typed or time focused — under "Chart metric".
- iCloud sync. With iCloud preferences sync on (Settings › Sync & privacy), your counters follow your other devices, and the streak counts a day when any of them was used. The "Statistics" group under Sync & privacy › What syncs keeps each device's counters local when turned off. Either way the data never leaves your devices and your private iCloud.
