The Void

Deleted notes go to The Void, where they can be restored or permanently deleted, and from which they are emptied automatically after a time you choose.

The Void

Design Intent: Deleting should be fearless. The Void is where notes go first, and come back from.

Using it

  • Deleted notes go to The Void. Open it from the orb menu's destination bar. Each row shows when it was deleted; tap to restore ("Note restored") or delete permanently ("Permanently Delete?"). Empty clears it all after "Empty The Void?".
  • The Void empties itself after a while — 7, 30 or 90 days, or never.
  • Slotted notes never enter The Void: deleting a slot clears it.
